Team Fields Page

 Description

Use the Fields page to pick which fields this team will use for season, practice, and tournament games, and also specify the priority each field should have. Fields with a priority of one will be scheduled before a field with a priority of two. This is helpful when you have a pool of fields you can use for game play. Some fields may be better than the others, so you may want to use the better fields first if possible. 

 Controls

• Team Name page
  Allows you to enter the team name and other information.
  
  
• Contacts/Sponsors page
  Allows you to assign contacts and sponsors to this item.
  
  
• Start Times page
  Specify the start times and exceptions for game play.
  
  
• Specify different field settings based on the type of game check box
  Check this item if you would like to specify different fields based on the type of game. If you don't check this item, then all season, practice, and tournament games will use the same specified fields.
  
  
• Specify different field settings based on the type of game combo box
  If the check box is checked, the combo box switches between field settings for the different game types. 
  
  
• Home Field selection
  Select this option if this team has only one field available for home games. Choose the field to use in the corresponding combo box.
  
  
• Home Field combo box
  Choose this team's home field here.
  
  
• Use the league's list of prioritized fields for this team's game locations selection
  Set this option if this team should use the prioritized list of fields maintained by the league for game play.
  
  
• This team must set its own priority for fields selection
  Choose this option if the team should specify its own priority value for fields. Set the priority values for the fields in the Fields list.
  
  
• Field list
  Displays the list of fields and their priority for the selected game type specified in the Display settings for combo box. Click the Set Priority button to edit modify the priority value for the selected field(s).
  
  
• Set Priority button
  Displays the Set Priority dialog allowing you to change the selected field(s) priority.
  
  
• OK button
  Saves the changes.
  
  
• Cancel button
  Close the dialog discarding changes.
  
  

 Displaying

The Create/Edit Team dialog is displayed whenever you choose to create or edit a team. This may be from the New dialog, the Creation Toolbar, and even the Project Tree. Click the Fields tab to view this page.
