 Description

The Create Game Set dialog allows you to create the team pairings for the Season schedule. You can create game sets by specifying the number of times the selected teams will play each other, or by specifying the number of games the selected teams will be playing.

Example 1

Let's say you have ten teams in your league and they all play each other one time during the season. To create a game set for this situation, do the following:

1. Choose The selected teams will play the selected opponents this many times: option, and enter a 1 into the edit box.

2. Select the ten teams in the Select Teams list.

3. Select the same ten teams in the Select Opponents list.

4. Click OK.

Example 2:

Let's say you have five teams that play a different set of five teams, and each team plays a total of eight games during the season. To create a game set for this situation, do the following:

1. Choose the Each selected team will play this many games: option, and enter 8 into the edit box.

2. Select the first group of five teams in the Select Teams list.

3. Select the second group of five teams in the Select Opponents list.

4. Click OK.

• Description edit box
  Enter a description for this game set.
  
  
• The selected teams will play the selected opponents this many times edit box 
  Choose this option if the teams in your league will play all the other teams a certain number of times.
  
   
• Each selected team will play this many games edit box 
  Choose this option if the selected teams won't be playing each other an even number of times. For example, say you have ten teams in your league, but your season schedule only allows enough time for seven games per team to be played. You would choose this option because ten teams playing each other once results in each team playing nine games during the season, which is too many. The teams will be randomly paired and balanced with home and away.
  
   
• Ok button 
  Saves changes and closes dialog box.
  
  
• Cancel button 
  Closes the dialog discarding changes.
  
  
• Selected Teams list 
  Select the list of teams to be paired with the Selected Opponents.
  
   
• Selected Opponents list 
  Select the list of opponents to be paired with the Selected Teams.

 Displaying

The Create Game Set dialog is displayed by clicking the New button on the Game Sets Page of the Season Schedule.
