Description
The Season Settings page is used to specify the season start and end
dates, game duration, and other constraints for scheduling.
Controls

Schedule Name
page
Allows you to change the name of the schedule and also specify which master
schedule and league to use.

Game Sets
page
Lets you create the team pairings.

Officials
page
If officials should be schedule, this screen allows you to specify which ones
and how many per game.

Schedule Now
page
Allows you to have TSSS automatically schedule the games.

Season Start Date button
Allows you to set the season start date by displaying the Select
Date dialog.

Season End Date check box
Checking this box enables the Season End Date button
allowing you to specify the season end date. If you don't
specify an end date, the scheduler try to choose the minimum
amount of time necessary to schedule your league.

Allows you to set the season end date by displaying the Select
Date dialog.

Game Duration edit
Specify the number of minutes required to play the game.

Minimum rest time before the start of the next game
check box
Checking this item enables the corresponding edit box.

Minimum rest time before the start of the next game
edit
Allows you to specify the number of days to wait before
scheduling another game for the same team.

Max team games per week check box
Checking this item enables the corresponding edit box.

Max team games per week edit
Allows you to specify the maximum number of games to
schedule per team a week.

Max league games per week check box
Checking this item enables the corresponding edit box.

Max league games per week edit
Allows you to specify the maximum number of games to
schedule per week for this league.

Max league games per day check box
Checking this item enables the corresponding edit box.

Max league games per day edit
Allows you to specify the maximum number of games to
schedule a day for this league.

Advanced button
Displays the Scheduling
Penalty Values dialog allowing you to tell the schedule
how to score a schedule.

Allow Double Headers check box
Checking this item tells the scheduler that double-headers
are to consider for scheduling. Checking this item enables
the following three controls.

Maximum number of team games a day edit
If Allow Double Headers is checked, specify the
maximum number of games a team can play in one day.

Ideal rest time before start of next game edit
If Allow Double Headers is checked, specify the
number of minutes of rest time that should be scheduled
between team games.

Schedule double-headers at the same field check box
Check this item if double-headers must be scheduled at the
same field. If your fields are sufficiently close together,
it may be ok to schedule double headers at different fields.

OK button
Saves the changes.

Cancel button
Close the dialog discarding changes.
Displaying
The Create/Edit Season Schedule dialog is displayed whenever you
choose to create or edit a season schedule. This may be from the New
dialog, the Creation
Toolbar, and even the Project
Tree. Click the Settings tab to display this page.
